I found some banana in this (aroma and even taste) but little to none of the typical clove - that's o.k. - it made it all the more drinkable. Nice light hop finish too. Now, I've got to figure out how to drink it while using the weed whacker at the same time... Dorwart (1814), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2007 Good sized light orange head of medium sized bubbles. reduce slowly with good carbonation. Really cloudy dark orange in color. Almost looks like apricot juice. Dry and dusty aroma with some light peaches, ham and some spices. Dry and biscuity in flavor. Definate wheat notes. Little bit of chalkyness. Pretty sweet and not very refreshing for a wheat. Finishes oily and dry. Eh! kwoeltje (1321), Manchester, Missouri, USA

Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a thick, puffy off-white head. Tangy, bitter, zesty aroma. Flavor is rather weak and rather cardboardy with tangy and earthy notes. No banana or clove flavors suggestive of a "hefeweizen" the label claims the beer to be. Instead, this has a rather creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Falls far, far short of other American Wheats like Bell’s Oberon. Wet and lifeless. Delirium (498), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Fairly weak aroma, mainly of wheat. Similar flavor, although a bit stronger, and with a hint of citrus. Finishes crisply. Not exciting at all, but it’s not bad. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Smooth to drink, but a bit thin in taste. Poured a golden color with a moderate head that was quick to disapear. Tastes of a little yeast, bread, not much hopiness. marvinpontiac (117), Huntington Beach, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Quite yeasty on the palate and a little watered down. Its the standard hefe on tap in SoCal and often times the best some bars have to offer on tap. zxxzooz (13), Berkeley, California, USA

Not especially sweet or tart on the nose and palate. Everytime i drink this beer i want it to have some exceptional quality, but I don’t get it. Just common.
