Front-end was somewhat sweet, with a low yeast flavor. Immediate aftertaste is just a bit sour, but mostly watery. Just an ’ok’ beer. Pjones6738 (500), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

I skipped the lemon probably because that’s how Corona tries to disguise the fact that there is no flavor. That was almost the case here, but this was a refreshing, glossy-smooth drink that tasted good ice-cold. CaptainCougar (5534), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 18, 2003 Light citrus nose from the cloudy golden body with a thin lacy head. Smooth, with decent balance, but lacking uniqueness. Bitter finish with some German yeast character. A mediocre brew. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2003 Had one of these on tap at Riva (on the Wharf) while visiting the Santa Cruz boardwalk last Sunday. This brew pours a cloudy light amber. The white and foamy head doesn't last long and the lacing is light. The nose is standard dry wheat, I was on a wharf, mind you - so I struggled with the nose. The bready taste is bland but balanced. The body is light, watery and fizzy. Great for summertime, but this is one of my least favorite styles. KingPinHead (390), Des Moines, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 22, 2002 Aroma typically wheaten but very light. Color a cloudy yellow-gold with average head---some lace...Flavor features the signature wheat aspects of concurrent sweetness and tang, although both are very muted in this brew. Hops are also very light. Body is adequate, and the finish is just a tapered version of the main body. There is nothing objectionable about this offering, but nothing very memorable either. This is one instance in which I might recommend the lemon to perk-up a fairly drab profile. aleindulger (12), Venice, California, USA

Cereal grains and citrus in the nose. Medium bidied with a mild chalky body. Good yeast character. Bit of clove and straw. Mildly spicy. Cereal malts and mild red esters. Off style, but decent.
