I skipped the lemon probably because that’s how Corona tries to disguise the fact that there is no flavor. That was almost the case here, but this was a refreshing, glossy-smooth drink that tasted good ice-cold. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2003 From bottle at a restaurant, came with a lemon wedge already installed. Cloudy light orange/yellow, small head disappeared quickly. Light body, easy to drink and mine was... well quite lemony, but not much else going on. I've had this on tap in the past and seem to recall enjoying it more. Will have to try a better example of this style, really don't care for the German style (the cloves ruin it for me). | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 18, 2003 Light citrus nose from the cloudy golden body with a thin lacy head. Smooth, with decent balance, but lacking uniqueness. Bitter finish with some German yeast character. A mediocre brew. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2003 Had one of these on tap at Riva (on the Wharf) while visiting the Santa Cruz boardwalk last Sunday. This brew pours a cloudy light amber. The white and foamy head doesn't last long and the lacing is light. The nose is standard dry wheat, I was on a wharf, mind you - so I struggled with the nose. The bready taste is bland but balanced. The body is light, watery and fizzy. Great for summertime, but this is one of my least favorite styles. Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 16, 2003 Smooth and easy drinking. I found some banana in this (aroma and even taste) but little to none of the typical clove - that's o.k. - it made it all the more drinkable. Nice light hop finish too. Now, I've got to figure out how to drink it while using the weed whacker at the same time... snoot (277), Anaheim, California, USA

Bland would be the word I'm looking for here. I thought it was a little bit better out of the bottle. beerguy101 (3907), Newark, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2002 Medium gold color. Large foamy head. Aroma is malty and slightly floral. A medium bodied hefe-weizen. Mild flavored, smooth tasting wheat. In fact it’s kind of bland. Not in the Macro sort of way, but just that it’s not very flavorful. None of the banana and clove flavor going on here, but there is a kind of buttery taste to it. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty and slightly sweet. Cloudy light gold with a medium white head, not as large or sustained as many wheats. Pleasant mild aromas of grain and yeast, but nothing special. Light estery flavors typical of the style, but a little understated. Finishes clean with little bitterness. A refreshing hefeweizen, but only average.
