Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Medium gold color. Large foamy head. Aroma is malty and slightly floral. A medium bodied hefe-weizen. Mild flavored, smooth tasting wheat. In fact it’s kind of bland. Not in the Macro sort of way, but just that it’s not very flavorful. None of the banana and clove flavor going on here, but there is a kind of buttery taste to it. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty and slightly sweet.

Eh... I’m not into Pyramid, from what I’ve seen of them so far. The other reviews say it all... bland weizen, decent but forgettable.

Light citrus and banana aroma with a pour that is a cloudy orange with a decent white head. The flavor has some malty sweetness with light notes of bananas. The finish is light and mild.

12 oz. bottle. Cloudy light gold with a medium white head, not as large or sustained as many wheats. Pleasant mild aromas of grain and yeast, but nothing special. Light estery flavors typical of the style, but a little understated. Finishes clean with little bitterness. A refreshing hefeweizen, but only average.

Unimpressed. Wheat beers are good, but I will say that I have grown from them. Its good at a beer, but its missing something. The lemony citrus taste is always present. Its an enjoyable drink, but not my favorite.

Hazy yelllow with asmall white head. Aroma of yeast with some small notes of banana and orange. Astringent malty taste.

22 oz. Not much aroma at all, some biscuity yeast smell. Light bodied very smooth taste. Some citrus. Thin bodied. Too mellow and watery.

Deep apricot color with quickly thinning white head. Nose is lemony and yeasty. Flavor was somewhat disappointing...somewhat hoppy, but nothing distinctive, and somewhat rough for a Hefe...slightly below average in the Hefe field IMO. Palate was relatively smooth, and some bitterness was noted in the aftertaste...an OK wheat
