Good, sweet balanced flavour, good yeastiness and remains light and refreshing. Nice big, fluffy head, and mustard colour. Smells as creamy and sweet as it looks. I’ve been awake for about 24 hours at this point, but a few swigs of this and I’m feeling better already. strick8 (2), USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 14, 2003 I’m on my 2nd pony keg of this. These go down way too smooth on a hot summer day. Looked good and smelled good also. Cloudy golden color with a good head. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 16, 2005 Beautiful hazy pour. Light and fruity flavor. Peach, apricot and banana. Mostly fruit. Some sweetness to the fruit. Slight effervescence and crispness. Generally has the consistency of fruit juice. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why this is rated so low. It is extremely tasty and refreshing. Nothing wrong with this beer.

This is one of the more mild Hefeweizen’s. If you’re not totally into wheat beers, this would be a good starter. I enjoyed it. GeneralGao (3062), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

This is a little cloudy with no head. The beer goes down fresh and fizzy with a pleasant hefe flavor, a hint of sweetness and a dash of hoppy snap. A very good American hefeweizen, but I have had it several times, and some bottles are not as good as others. hamsterglory (48), Bryan, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Updated: Aug 22, 2008this pint poured by ayn rand loving bartender - john’s - steep recommendation. pyramid hefe pours with a riverbed sediment heavy yellowish-orange hue. visually swirling citrus notes darken as outer lights descend through the glass. aroma proclaims divine purpose of the lemon peel - bright and floral and yellow. i sip with high expectancy. the hazy citrus appearance infuses thick clouds of breakfast beverage flavor. i want to drink this beer early in the day - maybe with a coffee and eggs benedict. orangey aftertaste does not offend the initial refreshment or disturb the beer-at-six-AM fantasy. i would drink this beer in the morning before work if i could find the right job. my first - not last - pyramid offering.
