Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Excellent. Just like the Apricot Ale more or less, but without the fruit.

Crisp, wheaty head. Hazy, deep orange color. Bold, fresh, floral and fruit notes: honey, citrus, lemon zest. Little hop intrusion, but some bitterness lies on the palate. Solid, chewy texture. Hops re-emerge, flood the mouth, dance around the teeth and gums. Beautifully refreshing! To the crap lager drinkers of the world, I wish a taste of this fine ale, to shatter their beer worldview, and , if Heaven permits, rebuild it!

Thick golden color with a fluffy head. Wheaty, citrusy goodness. Well carbonated with a lingering slightly bitter aftertaste.

After being lost in jericho beach and other random spots after dark in Vanouver, stopped on the beach to swig a bottle of this after a travel from Seattle. Not bad, and hearty.

This does not have the taste of a true German hefe and it is one of the few wheat beers that i will "hang fruit" (lemon) in. Despite the unfiltered processing this beer pours very clear with a darker color than many hefes. Good flavor, not as complex and lacks the citrus and spice notes found in a Yazoo or Paulaner.

bottle: cloudy orange color in the glass. Minimal head that quickly dissipated. Nice wheat smell and taste. Quite a bit of sediment.
