Aroma fairly generic. Smells like beer. Color is a little non-distinct but with a nice murkiness and OK head. Flavor is pretty smooth, but not very full-bodied. For a wheat beer, not bad.

Dec 30, 2009 This is pretty bullshit. Stale, too prickly and boring. Totally ugly in the glass and on the palate. Cheesy and with a pulpy fruit to it. Not groovy.

Dec 22, 2009 12 pack mixed picked up at QFC. Nice haze orange color. Not very much head, but this looks surprisingly good. Very weak banana wheat aroma. Not much of a citrus, wheat, banana, or yeast flavor. Everything is quite muted in terms of flavor. This is just a very weak wheat, such as the UFO from Harpoon. Not a bad palate, but everything is VERY muted here i.e. flavor(s)/aroma(s).

Nov 13, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Chesapeake. Cloudy golden pour with minimal head. Understated aroma; really not picking up very much but there is a hint of banana and clove. Flavor is very good. Well-balanced flavor of bubblegum and banana and just a hint of citrus. Nothing overwhelming here but this is a good beer. I’m really quite surprised at all of the low ratings.

Nov 11, 2009 nice wheat and citrus on the nose. dark golden hazy pour with a little white head. more malt than wheat flavor. wheat lingers longer on the palate however. nice mouthfeel.

Nov 7, 2009 Sample at GABF 2009. Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of honey, banana, clove, light spice, caramel, some hints of light citrus. Flavor is about the same. Light to medium body with a pleasing floral finish.

Nov 5, 2009 Shaker pint draft, at the Seattle taproom at SEATAC. Pour is cloudy orange golden with a smallish white head. Served with a lemon I plucked off, but lemon citrus is still the primary aroma. After giving it a few minutes to clear, some very faint citric wheat comes across. Taste is a lot more of the citric, slight earthy wheat, followed by bright citrus. Also get some floral in the back. Palate is nice and full, yet light with active carbonation. Nice drinkable unfiltered wheat beer.

Nov 1, 2009 The colour of pink grapefruit juice; so hazy you’ll never see through it (but understandable since it is unfiltered). The nose is clean but there is little aroma to ponder. The mouthfeel is nice but the flavor is uninspiring. This beer wuld be desirable as a thirst quencher on a hot day...not my favorite style of beer; it is what it is!

Oct 21, 2009 12 oz. Bottle…Pours cloudy amber with a frothy white head…that last a moderate period of time. Lemon and citrus aromas penetrate deep within the nostrils. The swallow is lively (with carbonation)...the flavor is a little dull for my hefe taste buds.
