Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 16, 2006 An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges, but also notes of banana and light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as quite a lot of banana and oranges. I think this is a nice Hefeweizen - why is it listed as an American wheat? omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 24, 2003 Sampled druaght at Fox & Hound, Richardson, Texas.
Pale amber and cloudy. No Head. No aroma. Very light fruitiness. Clean and hard malt profile and fizzy mouthfeel. Medium to light body. Notes of citrus and slight touch of bitterness in the finish. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 16, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy, orangey golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet, fruity aroma. Medium body with some slightly sweet malt, but no real fruityness. A hint of sulphur in the finish. 150506 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 18, 2001 I remember someone telling me that this was just an unfiltered version of the Wheaten Ale. That cannot be true, since that beer is quite good and this one is quite lifeless. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/07/1996
