22 oz bottle. Poured a cloudy orange color. Head was thick, white, and left a lot of lace behind. Head retention was above average. Things went pretty much downhill after that. It didn’t smell bad, but the aroma wasn’t particularly attractive. It reminded me more of a lifeless American wheat than a hefe. There was only a hint of citrus and stale cereal grain. Dry on the tongue with mild hop bitterness of about 3-4 out of 10. Tasted of grassy hops with a dry wheaty note. Smelled like an American wheat, tasted like an American wheat. Overrated, IMO.

Cloudy amber/orange appearance with a small, off white head and modest lacing. Wheaty aroma mixes with orange, and throws off some spicyness on the backside. Taste is sweet malts layered over wheat. Spicy hops provide balance. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering, slightly tart, finish.

(Bottle) Pours a murky orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of mustiness, vanilla, orange peel, banana, and some clove (as it warms). Flavor of strong wheat presence, banana, orange peel, clove, and pepper.

golden with medium fluffy pale yellow head. grainy clove fragrance with some banana fruitiness and alcohol notes. medium thick viscous body. tastes like a regular spicy hefeweizen with emphasis on phenols over fruit, but...then add a lot more alcohol and caramel malt flavors. nice bold hefe balanced but definitely bold.

This is a nice beer. It pours a beautiful hazed apricot color with a good solid head. Decent hangtime and a nice lace. Very faint aromas of cereal and plastic shopping bags. Full nectar w/ perfect carbonation. This brew is perfectly balanced I tell you. A big malty backbone w/ a perfect citrus rind bittering component that digs in good. It’s not sweet at all, just good wholesome fruit. Seems like Robo Hop is trying to keep the curfew on the adolecent fruit factor. This brew tastes young and I’m sure will develope with some time in the bottle. The finish is short and bittered well. It actually gets a little skanky as it warms so watch out. I’m gonna put away a few and see how it does down the road.

Draft. Hazy orange amber beer with a nice whitish head. Yeasty, spicy aroma. Yeasty, spicy, malty flavor with some wheat and a very little bit of fruit. Medium body. LIngering yeast, malt, wheat. Not as wheaty as I thought it’d be.

A bit darker than a true heffeweizen with a very large white head. Some faint honey and banana in the aroma but I pick up more citrus notes. Surprisingly bitter for a hefe like beer but the finish is sweet and bready. Decent brew.

Bottle: Pale caramel, very thick and hazy, very thick.   Large pillowy head, off-white, sticky lacing.   Certainly looks like the real deal!   Malted wheat on the nose, seems somewhat sweet.   Very slight grassy note, also a tingling of alcohol perhaps.   Doesn’t detract tho.   Certainly wheaty on the tongue, but also noticeable alcohol.   Not biting, but very warming.   Spices are muted, although getting a little herbal aspects, the earthy kind.   If modeled after a German Hefe, not really getting any clove nor banana, but I wasn’t really expecting it either.   Thick mouthfeel, well rounded, but overall fairly simply.   Tiz clean, finish is very warming, with a very subtle earthy herbalness.   Wished it had more standard Hefe qualities tho, namely the clove, banana, and/or bubblegum.   Tiz also more hopped than your average Hefe.   Anyways, still enjoyable.
