Poured hazy medium orange with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up grain alcohol-infused dusty banana notes and caramel with medium-darker spices going on.. a bit rough. The flavor had banana and lighter fruity notes that were just over-laden with the booze factor.. finished hot with some sweet banana notes and paler malts. Medium-bodied and rough on the palate with an impression of hot alcohol on something like Miller Lite. Not very good. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 16, 2008 Pours a lovely glowing hazy orange with a tiny layer of foam. Aroma is sadly lacking - reminds me of a commercial lager more than a wit. Taste is equally disappointing, although the finish is slightly redeeming. Very boozy, old orange juice, sour orange towards the end. Velvety smooth body with decent carb. This is a restless unbalanced beer with some interesting ideas going on, but to flawed to settle into. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 16, 2008 Bomber. Pours a standard hefe hazy orange-yellow with minimal head. Nose is wheat and grass. Palate is sweet wheat, corn, grassy hops and a little bitter hop in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Meh. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Pours hazy light gold with a white head.
Fruity aroma but lacking the usual Weizen aromas.
Fruity flavor with a wheat bite in the finish.
Not bad, but I’ve had better. My opinion is to stay with a good hefeweizen or go all the way with a wheat wine. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 29, 2008 An almost orange aroma. Lightly hazed ornage pour. The flavor is just a hint of fuite with a finishing bitter that is unusual. Carbonation is aggessive the body is a little thin as well. Drinkable but not special by any means. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2008 Fresh Bottle - Fall 2007 - Dark peach juice color, creamy light tan head. Citric grassiness warms to notes of breaded fuzzy fruits. Well hopped up front with fruity bread and soft spiced notes throughout. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. This beer initially was very tasty, but by the looks of recent reviews, does not hold up well at all. Anyway, I thought it was well done. Could be one of the best Pyramid brews made yet... performula (147), Triangle Area, North Carolina, USA

Gold body with white head that fizzes out. Thicker body more toward the thicker and filling maly side of beer. Average on the palate but man after two don’t really need another one.
