Apr 21, 2008 Thanks to stefanje for this bottle. Pours a murky orange with small head. Nose of wheat, bananas and bready malts. Flavor is the same with some light citrus fruit thrown in there...very much like a double Pyramid Hefe. Pretty good mouthfeel...about what I expected, but I wish there was a more going on in this beer. Thanks Stefan!

Apr 15, 2008 Bottle at the April Get Together. Pours cloudy gold with off white head. The aroma is peaches, some pear, various orchard fruits. The flavor is pear, pepper, some sharp spicy hops. Tart lemon finish with grainy malt in the background. Ok, but not that special.

Apr 13, 2008 This one poured a cloudy yellow appearance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains lemons, peaches, and some cloves. The flavor contains some breadiness with some bananas, lemons, and peaches. This didnt seem very imperial to me but it was ok.

Apr 13, 2008 Cloudy orange, no head. Aroma is peach and pear. Flavor has a lot of alcohol, too, plus the aforementioned fruity notes. Finishes with a woodsy, hoppy note. Thansk to stevo for bringing this!

Apr 10, 2008 22 OZ Brewer’s Reserve 2007. I was expecting a bit more pop to this one, unfortunately. It has a hint of citrusy orange hoppiness, but nothing too special. It’s a decent hefeweizen.

Apr 9, 2008 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottleworks, Seattle, WA. Pour is hazy orange gold, with a nice off white head and a ton of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is soft earthiness, a bit of grassy yeast and some alcohol. Taste had an immediate sharpness I wasn’t expecting - almost a graininess. Also present is citrus orange sweet hoppiness. There is a faint hint of wheat in the taste, but that’s about it. The finish is pretty long, and has some mild heat. This was decently made, just kind of dull and not at all what I was expecting. Looking back, I am bit surprised the guy at BW recommended this one.

Apr 2, 2008 bottle. orange pour. lihgt haze and thin bubbled head. wheat, light apricot, and a little bready in aroma. dry peppery bite is suprising. balance is nice but flavors are very subtle. wheat, alcohol and mild fruit. not too wild about this one.

Apr 1, 2008 bottle. small to average off-white fizzy head (quickly and mostly dissapating) into cloudy orange body. no lacing. aromas of light resin hops and moderate toffee. flavors are moderately sweet and bitter (well balanced). slightly sticky mouthfeel (dry texture). average to above average carbonation. moderate to long duration finish. better than expected hefe.
