Draft at Bailey’s Taproom, Portland. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat, malt, and oranges. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat, orange, and light notes of banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is so light - that I’d never think it was 7.5% ABV - my guess would be around 4%.

hazy orange, wispy white head, big wheat aroma with a slight sweetness and spicyness, creamy body, sweet malt flavor, lots of wheat character but only a hint of tartness, light fruityness, more of a light wheat wine than a hefeweizen

Extra cloudy. Dull beige. Banana and alcohol on the nose. Firm alcoholic character, light banana fruitiness, and lots of malt. Still manages to retain drinkability despite its size. A fairly well-executed rendition of a silly concept.

Bottle... Murky amber ale with golden highlights and a small, ultra creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Low spicy phenols and fruity esters. Big on hops (for the style). Big yeast. Toffee sweetness up front, citrus pith bitterness on the backside. Full-bodied and mega creamy with moderate carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet, then dry and caustic. I like it because it’s not brewed to style. Cheers to scraff for bringing this one down to Palm Beach with him!

Pours a hazy orange golden with a thin-lacing white head. Fairly authentic aroma of sweet malted wheat with a touch of doughy German yeast and clove. Starts slightly sweet and wheaty with plenty of noble bittering hops and mild yeastiness toward a drier, slightly earthy finish. Could use a little more authentic yeastiness, but has decent body.
