Deep amber pour with a dingy yellow hued smaller head. The aroma is sweet roasted malts. Flavor is true to the aroma, not too strong on the hops, and well balenced with the malts. Carbonation is mild, which is good, however the finish is slow and sloppy, and there is a lingering aftertaste. Other then the finish and aftertaste, this is good.

Nov 27, 2009 Updated: Nov 30, 2009Bottle courtesy of Fratto. Clear red appearance but has some lighter qualities. Nice red malt aroma but a definite feeling of hops as well. Good balance between the two on the nose. Watery taste upfront but a definite tingle of hops. Malty backbone but is increasingly ever dry. Dry and bitter finish.

Nov 17, 2009 Pours clear ruby amber with a thin head. Aroma is honey and mild citrus. Taste is caramel, citrus and pine. Medium body. Decent beer.

Nov 15, 2009 12oz bottle. Rating #48. Dark amber pour with a very light tan head. Nice hop aroma up front with some nice bold malt in the background. Light hops and a little caramel, very easy going down and pretty nice overall. (1081)

Nov 12, 2009 Short 12oz twist-off bottle. Pours deep dark amber color, thin light tan head. Aroma of hops, woody; and malts, caramel and bubblegum. Flavor is of rich toasted grains and bold hop bitterness. Lots of Cascade essence along with a touch of floral Simcoe. Very nicely hopped. I could finish off a 6pk of this beer.

Nov 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a lovely deep amber with a golden-kissed head. Toffee, toast, and piney hop aroma and flavour, this turned out to be a nice hoppy little amber with a kiss of citrus cascade in the finish.
