Has a small white head and no lacing. Smells like a standard american pale but weaker in smell not very noticeable. Taste is similar a watered down american pale flavor with additional yeasty taste to it. Alright but nothing to write home about. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The aroma is sweet oranges with some bananas and a light hint of pine. The taste is slight pine and oak with a little bit of grapefruit. The mouthfeel is thin with a dry refreshing character. Very nice pale ale. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2005 Reddish brown with a good aroma of hops with a bit of sweet earthiness. Smooth with a good balance of floral hops and bready malts. Not too overpowering in any one category-like it couldn’t decide which direction to take-"should I be more malty or hoppy-I’ll stay in the middle as not to offend anyone". Clean, smooth finish with a little astringency. Good overall. willblake (2176), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Another darkish amber beer from Pyramid and with similar aromas of bread and herbs, but this one is a bit more on the citrus, c-hop side of the spectrum. Nice hoppy flavor dominates a rather thin brew, sweet, floral. As uninspiring as they are, these northwest pale ales are delicious as a Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger -- you can get it anywhere, and it’s so tasty you do. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA

This smells pretty good actually, surprisingly malty with minimal hopping. Tastse like a mellow amber ale. Typical malt, although strong. Dark for a pale - a moderate amber color. Although this surprised me it really wasn’t all too exciting, just unusual for the style and the brewery. Needs a bit more character. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

Flavor is malty (syrup like) and mildly hoppy in aftertaste. Generally, a decent all around beer--much like its English counterparts. bubbleflubber (893), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 30, 2004 Pours hazy reddish-brown, with a medium head that dissipates quickly leaving nice lace. Spicy hop nose. Almost immediate caramel on the front, malt balanced nicely with hops. Cleanses the palate well, nothing too obtrusive. Nutty bitter finish that tends to linger (maybe even a shade too long), but definitely fills the mouth and is decently drinkable. Would recommend with pizza or other hearty Ameritalian cuisine. Compliments well with marinara.
