Clear golden color with an smaller off-white head. Licorice, light citrus and mild caramel aromas. I’m catching some citric soap as well. Light fell, but still smooth. Quite spicy, with citric grapefruit and mild pine sap. Some nice malt flavors come back into play in the middle to finish. Linger is dry and lightly biting. I think this more an APA than IPA, but this is a decent sharp brew. An IPA for a hot day.

Jul 16, 2008 Pours an amber gold with a decent white head. Smells earthy and sage like with some floral hints. Tastes of dry malt and light pepper with a hint of hops on the finish. More subdued than others I’ve tried.

Jul 15, 2008 Caramel malt and hop aroma. Pours amber with a white head. It is bitter and hoppy all the way through. It has a slight metallic flavor.

Jul 6, 2008 Updated: Jul 9, 2008A run-of-the-mill IPA. Cloudy yellow pour. Nose is of yeast. Taste is of pine and is astringent. Pedestrian mouthfeel. Decent finish.

Jul 4, 2008 6/10/08 From 12oz bottle. Aroma is earthy, somewhat noble hop forward with faint malt that still balances well. Appearance is clear gold with a moderate white head. Flavor is grassy c-hop forward, not harsh, with caramel malt balance; somewhat simple. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a spritzy carb texture. Overall, relatively easy drinking with a pleasant balance.

Jul 3, 2008 Pours copper colored with some carbonation bubbles. Medium sized white frothy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is fruity apricot. Flavor is quite hoppy with long bitter aftertaste. First tastes like lager though, oddly. Tastes like a really bitter regular lager. Nicely bitter, but I’m not sure about the rest.
