duff (5405), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 7, 2008 Bottle. Decent pils. Clean, crisp, bitter, grassy. Nice slightly bready pale malt notes, and a nicely refreshing finish. Clean is the word. Very nice stuff.
Magic_dave6 (3752), London, Greater London, England Aug 26, 2008 Bottle in Quinns. Aroma is pale lager malts, herbal grassy hop, small cardboard notes. Taste is similar, quite drinkable stuff. MiP (5014), Flensburg, Germany Jul 25, 2008 Bottle, 5.1%. Papery aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is papery, but good. Has a little aroma hop sweetness and a mild bitterness to balance. yespr (6373), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 18, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a chalk white head. Light citrus fruity hops aroma. Flavour holds the same hops citrus note mixed with a light cardboardish dry malt note. Ends light biter and mild fruity. Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Feb 11, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Battersea Beer Festival. Bright bright gold with virtually no head. Card and cereal with some nice malt. Slight smoke. Nice long wheaty finish with some more card. A little bland but drinkable. Although the malt is nice it’s just too much for a pils and ends up too sweet for me.
