does not count  Feb 11, 2008 Bottled. I was very surprising this Bock. One of the best Helles Bock in Bayern. Bright Golden Colour. Nice malty and fresh hoppy aroma (minty), maybe nuts? It has a clear and "fresh und spritzig" charakter (surprise for Bock). Very sweet-bubbly malty palate typical for Bayern Hell Bock, but perfect combinated with fresh Spalt hops. Alcoholic warm in the end and fantastic dryish flowery hops finish. Perfect complex Bock. A new beer style:) - Helles Pils-Bock
