PetrZalio (7), Brno, Czech Republic does not count Feb 11, 2008 Bottled. I was very surprising this Bock. One of the best Helles Bock in Bayern. Bright Golden Colour. Nice malty and fresh hoppy aroma (minty), maybe nuts? It has a clear and "fresh und spritzig" charakter (surprise for Bock). Very sweet-bubbly malty palate typical for Bayern Hell Bock, but perfect combinated with fresh Spalt hops. Alcoholic warm in the end and fantastic dryish flowery hops finish. Perfect complex Bock. A new beer style:) - Helles Pils-Bock Theis (2018), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 7, 2007 Bottle at ØLbaren. Clear yellow - white head. Straw, hay, caramel, light citrus, cardboard, honey..... oldness... Boring. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 27, 2007 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 27, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, deep golden with a white head. Clean and very malty nose. Solis body with a very, very solid malt base and good, somewhat flowery hops. The alcohol bite is there without being overpowering. Well crafted. 201107 joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 21, 2007 Bottle.
