May 10, 2008 Bottle, 4.8%. OK yeast aroma. Hazy grey/orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is yeasty, turning quite citric. Ends up mild enough, and OK drinkable.

Nov 16, 2007 On tap at Huttn, Nurnberg 9/11/07 as ’Bernreuther Kellerbier’. Cloudy amber with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of yeast and red fruit. Flavour of fruity malt with a bitter finish. Spritzy mouth feel and pretty good.

Oct 29, 2007 (screw cap bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a fluffy, tanned foamy head. Sweet and yeasty-fruity aroma of citrus and pears and a light spicy, hoppy touch. Sweet and slightly fruity-sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Malty and yeasty taste with fruity components; fruity and malty, slightly bitter finish. Not perfectly balanced but still a nice thirst quencher.

Jun 20, 2007 Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, quite creamy and lacing off-white head; sweet-malty and distinctive fruity (berries with a touch of turpentine !) nose with a faint bitter-herbal background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light- to medium-bodied, creamy MF; citrousy, fruity, a bit "english" finish with a decent bitterness in the aftertaste. Fine stuff..........

Feb 11, 2007 bottle. rusty copper colour, lingering white head. mossy aroma with hints of peach iced tea. pretty flavourful - port flavoured aeroplane jelly, bread dough and a herbal, menthol finish. tasty stuff
