A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Rich amber with a thin off white head. Sweet earthy German malt. A little too sugary. Slightly metallic. Not fantastic but the alcohol is hidden well.

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, spicy, banana. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (030508)

Jun 6, 2008 500ml bottle at Reading BF 08. Orangey brown colour. For an 8.5% beer, not bad and quite drinkable. Bit too obviously sugary, but nice stewed malt flavours nonetheless.

May 5, 2008 Bottle with ronnie, from random bottle shop in edinburgh with Jon ex strathaven brewer. Aroma is cornish and pale lager malts, sweetish and almost darkish candy sugar. Taste is similar, but theres some grassy hop character.
