TheBeerLover (1013), DC Metro Area, USA Apr 16, 2006 12 oz bottle purchased at the brewery in Staunton, VA. Pours to a beautiful, bright, deep golden color, with a tall, white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is very nice, with good, crisp, pale, and biscuit malt aromas, paired with some jammy esters. The palate is firm, with good pale, biscuit, and sweet malt flavor, and light hints of estery fruit. This beer finishes with more biscuit and sweet malt flavor up front, then ends with a nice, spicy hop bitterness that slightly lingers. A nice effort, and a tasty, drinkable beer. argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Feb 20, 2006 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body with big off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some nectarine, light spice, faint cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, nectarine, some berry, light spice, earthy. Watery light body with some crispness.
