IrishBoy (2111), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 25, 2008 341ml bottle from mullet2007; Nose of yeast, caramel, and some weak flowery hops; copper with a medium beige, glass-lacing head; flavor has caramel, light hop bitterness, pepperiness, and weak fruitiness;finsih has a trace of hops and fruit. beerbill (1243), Laurel, New York, USA Jun 20, 2008 341 ml bottle courtesy of a trade with mullet2007. Pours a clear amber with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left patchy lace. Light aroma of malt along with a few whisps of fruit. The flavor is more definitive with malt that has some earthiness to it. Lightly bitter at the finish. This is a very solid and refreshing amber ale that is very easy to drink. Very sessionable. dchmela (686), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 11, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy Mullet2007. Pours out a nice clear amber with a thick frothy head. Malty, doughy, fruity citrus hop aroma. Malty taste with a nice sweetness, mixed with a hoppy bitterness. Creamy body with a faint bitterness in the finish. This is a solid amber ale and much better than I thought it would be. robinvboyer (980), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada May 23, 2008 amber in color, duh!
nose is crystal malt, and a touch of hops. Medium malty flavour, pretty basic canadian amber ale, not fancy, but good drinking. DuffMan (1915), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Apr 3, 2008 Clear light amber brown. Straight-shooting crystal malt amber with an earthy hop element. Not bad.
