Hansen (1573), Randers, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Dark yellow and clear. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Aroma is fatty, heavy malty, too much. Flavor is heavy sweet. Soft carbonation. gunnfryd (2659), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 4, 2008 Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, caramel, overcooked frozen vegetables. Flavour is sweet, fruit, malt, caramel, alchol, overcooked frozen vegetables. Not a succesful brew. yngwie (3322), Kristiansand, Norway May 24, 2008 Bottle, thx to HenrikSoegaard. A clear, quite dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. Sweetish nose with cooked vegetables and a little fruityness. The flavor starts decent, with malts, a little fruityness and grains, then the cooked vegetables enter the scene, and kicking out the other flavors. A sugary sweetness and some hops manage to squeeze in after a while, but it still isn’t impressing at all. Slightly warming mouthfeel, quite sweetish too, and it finishes rather sweet and malty, with fruityness as well. Quite weak finish though. I normally prefer the dark bockbeers, but I think I would prefer any other pale bock I’ve had to this one. I ain’t missing the brewery either, the beers wasn’t excactly world class. (080412) Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark May 4, 2008 Clear fully golden colour with a white head. Malty, grainy sweet aroma with notes of bread, fruit, alcohol and grass. Malty, sweet flavor with grassy notes and hints of fruit.
