Draught at Århus Ølfestival. Black coloured with a medium sized beige ehad. Roasted aroma of chocolate, liquorice and dried fruits with notes of hops. Sweet and roasted flavour of chocolate, liquorice and hops with notes of dried fruits. Hoppy and roasted finish. Nice.

Århus2008. From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Hoppy and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is roasted malt and sweet chocolate, mild roasted caramel malt. Ends with with a light hoppy note towards solid bitter and mild roasted far finish. Solid chocolate finish. Slightly overempowering.

Burning beer, but with a very good and complex mix of caramel, chocolate and hops; some sweet liquorice too at the end; the aroma is somehow milky and cheesy too.

Draught. Close to pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, hops, licorice and quite much alcohol. Flavour is very much the same in a quite nice balance, but everything is brought to the extremes, so it probably would need a bit more aging to be better balanced.

Bottle at ÅBF08. Good coffee aroma. Very black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is powerful, hoppy, biting, roasted coffee, sweetish. Very nice.
