sayravai (2993), Helsinki, Finland Apr 11, 2008 (Draught@HBF2008) Almst black with a very small head. Strong hops, berry leaves, and faint hints of alcohol in the aroma. Licoricey maltiness, light roastiness, and warming but smooth alcohol inthe flavor. Almost full-bodied, warming palate with low carbonation. Very nice and pleasant in small doses, and hides the high ABV well.

Very hopped nose, with grapefruit and pine, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and some alcohol. Sweetish roasted flavor with chocolate, lots of citrusy, grassy hops and a lovely bitterness, both coffee-bitterness and hop-bitterness. Lasting finish with sweetness and coffee. Full-bodied, quite sweet. A beauty with a lot of both the hops and the darkness.
