Commercial Description:

English: A Raasted Bryghus beer project brewed on unique hops from Jutland, Funen and Zealand. The beers are all brewed from the same recipe and only the use of different hops grown in the agricultural museum hop garden amongst others separates them.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2007, Valby. Pours a clear amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and some fruit. The flavor is caramel and hops. Palate is bitter. Overall a beer that is only good for comparison with the 2 other in this experiment (Fyn and Sjælland version)

Bottled. Hazy amber with a low beige foam. Dusty aroma with notes of walnut and hay with sweet notes of berries. Nuts, oranges, caramel and red apples in the flavour. Medium-bodied. Medium-bitter finish of nuts, grass, metal and dried fruit.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops and some over ripe fruits as well as hints of phenol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, phenol, dusty hops, and some fruit, leading to a very dry and quite bitter finish, where a note of over ripe fruit lingers. My favorite of the three varieties, though the differences are subtle.

Bottle. Amber, a bit unclear body with a beige head. Hops, orange, some resin and a weak matlyness in the shape of beef-stock. Sweet, quite fruity flavor, finishing bitter. Medium body. The second best of this hop experiment I think. (070928)

Bottle. High creamy off-white lasting head. Hazy dark orange body. Lovely cocoa aroma. Cocoa hops flavor in a pleasant combination with what seems to be just the right amount of carbonation. Hops bitterness is not dominating but actually quite good for such a low alcohol beer. Fruityness also there. Short aftertaste.
