A Mes rate: Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage.
Opaque black with a tan head and plenty of chunky lace. One of the best looking beers I have seen. Wonderful rich aroma of spicy dark chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Flavour is sublime. Incredible balance with both malt and hops in abundance. Liqourice and dark chocolate, roasted coffee, more spice and a glorious smoky note. Body is about as full as you get. Totally over the top but so mellow, refined and smooth. Alcohol is there but only a slight hint. Finish is more roasty coffee. Stunning beer.

Sep 7, 2008 Draught at Plan B. Pours a pitch black colour with light brown chocolately foamy head. Both aroma and flavor is coffee, chocolate, liquorice, sugar, dark caramel, hops, malt. Excellent.

scent:dryish hops roasted malts
taste:first sip sweet, strong roasted almost burnt malts. dryness and hops pleasantly in long long aftertaste. bit sticky but pleasant coffee and chocolate aroma as well

Aug 31, 2008 bottle- pours nearly opaque with a tan head. nose is cola, chocolate, coffee, banana, taste is coffee, brandy, bananas, really thick full body and mouhtfeel. sort of pudding tastes. really good. very enjoyable.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Black and opague. Malty, sugary aroma with rubber and licorice. Very sweet, sugary flavor with laurel and licorice. Salty, well rounded, hardly any roast. Deceivingly easy drinker, but lacks depth.
