Commercial Description:
Imperial Stout is a deep black beer with a chocolatecoloured huge head. Has a powerful aroma and flavour of as well the roasted malts and the huge amounts of hops. While brewing the american hops Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo and Cascade are used. The beer is dryhopped with loads of Cascade. The most black beer Raasted has yet had on the program.

Druahgt at Plan B, Copenhagen. Black color, great brown head. Wonderful coffee aroma, cocoa, chocolate, licorice. Salty, hoppy chocolate flavor, cocoa, spicy, tar notes, peppery, coffee, fruity, some figs and vanilla notes. Huge beer with so much to offer...

Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Black and opague. Malty, sugary aroma with rubber and licorice. Very sweet, sugary flavor with laurel and licorice. Salty, well rounded, hardly any roast. Deceivingly easy drinker, but lacks depth.

Bottle thanks to pepsican! Blackish pour with a moderately sized head. Aroma is tremendously roasty - even burnt. Chocolate, and some hop bitterness pokes through. Flavor is roasty, burnt, heavy with some UK style hops, and packing a decent dose of licorice too. Nice, but the "burnt" thing seems to throw this one off balance a bit.

Courtesy hopscotch. Black color with a sparse light tan head. Grainy, roasty aroma but the roast character is pretty mild. Not much of an alcohol presence for a 10% beer. Light coffee on the taste, slight roasty bitterness, some light astringency. An interesting imperial stout, low-key but well-balanced.

Black in colour with a thin but lingering brown coloured head, good lacing. The aroma was of light alcohol, some sweetness, liquorice, chocolate, lots of malt, roasty with some light hops. The flavour is roasty and lightly burnt, some coffee, lots of sweetness, milk chocolate with some hop bite coming in at the very end. Sweet mouthfeel, large body, moderate carbonation. Finishes very long with some hops, lots of roast and a lingering sweetness.

This is a big, powerful imperial stout with excellent balance. Never became overpowering and the alcohol was well hidden making this one very dangerous.

500ml bottle obtained in a trade with MPA, thanks Mads Peter.

This was a black as night and creamy beer with a rich and roasted malty flavor to it hints of dark chocolate and a nice coffee finish.CHEERS!
