Excellent hopped - great bitterness and a classic hoppy aroma. Not so sweet but with some malt notes fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 6, 2007 Hazy golden color; fine perlage. Elegant hoppy aroma, the English hop doesn’t lie, with good malt sweetness and some vanilla. The malt profile just supports a powerful bitterness, that starts balanced and ends overwhelming; it’s a dry bitterness, with lots of hop oils (as different to resins for me); light smokeyness; a bit fruity; the final reminds the Italian herbal digestives, but without the syrupy sweetness. A palate killer. Very well brewed. Excellent. pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany May 4, 2007 Bottle: Straw golden, huge fluffy white head; resinous, citrousy, hoppy nose with big touch of Pilsner-like sweet-malt in the background; strong bitter flavour, almost oily MF; lingering citrousy, strong bitter-aromatic finish. Very aromatic brew, almost refreshing, with very well hidden alcohol....... Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark Feb 18, 2007 Golden IPA with a very beautiful head and a nice fruity, citrussy aroma. The flavour is spicy, crisp and fruity, mostly citrus, and it has a nice bitterness and a touch of caramel. I like this one, and IMO it’s well balanced and nice. ante (2482), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden Feb 4, 2007 Hazy golden appearance with a small white head. Very dry and crisp hop aroma grapefruit and orange-peels with touches of fresh cut grass. Sweet undertones of nectarines. Hoppy and dry flavour of grapefruit, grass and lemon-peels. I just missing some malt in here. Crisp, refreshing and not overly bitter finish of wet grass and lemon-peels. Quite good, I could drink a few of these but I want more body.
