Commercial Description:
Mild Hvede is an interpretation of the classical Belgian Wit. Light in color, and unclear, as a wheat beer should be, with a thick chalk white head, due to the high level of natural carbonation. Brewed using pilsner malt, wheat malt, Tetnanger hops, orange peel, coriander, and Belgian ale yeast. Mild Hvede is soft and has a nice rounded aftertaste. Mild Hvede suits light meats as chicken, pork, and fish well. It is also good as a thirst quencher in the heat.

500ml bottle. Golden body with an off-white head. Aroma is sour citrus and yeast. Flavor is harmonic, fresh and a bit sweet wheat. OK but not to exiting.

Bottled. Pours clear, golden-yellow, with a small beige head. A bit sour start on the aroma, with citrus and a vague spicyness following. Some sourness in the flavor as well as citrus, wheat and flour. Thin body. Raasted can do better than this, of that I am sure. (070302)

Heavy malty aroma. Small frothy initial apperance. Off-white head color. Fair lacing. Mostly diminishing longevity. Cloudy sparkling clarity. Yellow body. Heavy bitter initial flavor. Medium palate. Watery texture.
