Bottle... Post RBSG ’08 O-Town/Vero Beach Throwdown Chapter 8... Murky golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Earthy aroma boasts leather and spices. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with delicate carbonation. Balanced, fruity, bittersweet and acidic. Lengthy, bittersweet, grassy finish. Thanks go out to pepsican for providing this bottle!

Bottle, 50cl. Pours a little unclear beer, amber-colored with an off-white, medium lasting head. The arome has pine, citrus and flowers. The flavor is fruits, flowers and pine hops, with some sweetness. The mouthfeel is a little out of balance. Overall a nice beer, but not impressive, when using the words Triple IPA in the titel of the beer.

Hazy dark golden, sediment. Nuanced hop character blends earth, flowers, and dried fruit. Light effervescence. Alcohol is well-hidden. Reasonable length, is fairly long. Nice complexity. Great balance of delectable fruity sweetness and crisp forest hops.

Hazy beige colour. Fruity, minty, over the top hop aroma. Thick, sweet, minty, spicy taste. Sometimes it seems balanced, other times it seems like diluted hop extract. That’s an odd effect but this beer might be best in a sampling situation rather than trying to actually drink it.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small, fizzy white head with minimal lacing. The citrus hops seem to dominate the aroma with a slight caramel malt backbone. The flavor was again dominated by the bittering hops with a little bit of citrus picked up as well. A touch of caramel sweetness is in the background. This had a very bitter flavor that was pretty astringent and not very balanced. This was decent, but not something to try again.

Bottle courtesy of Hopscotch. Pours cloudy amber orange with minimal off white head. Big hoppy aroma. Flavor is mostly grapefruit and citrus hops with some sweetness. Very bitter and not in a good way. Medium body with average carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. I can’t seem to find a European DIPA that really makes me say WOW!

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a cloudy dark orange, with a small off white head. Smells a little over the top hoppy, with a light grapefruit citrus backbone. Slight alcohol heat 2was picked up as well. The flavor was quite bitter and a little watery. Some uncomfortable citrus, and musty hops were evident. Pretty astringent in its characters. Almost kind of dead tasting with no real semblance of balance or life. Disappointing.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a cloudy, almost milky looking orange-gold color. Minimal spotty lacing noted. The nose is an odd one, showing notes of orange marmalade, toffee, butterscotch (not in a diacetyl sort of way), and hints of grapefruit. Flavors were similar, with orange and grapefruit hops coming through strong, but there was a weird, vegetal sort of funky going on as well. Toffee sweetness lingers in the background. The medium-full, sugary body finishes with biting astringency. This one is weird, for sure. I’m not a big fan.
