TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Apr 15, 2008 Bottled (BB 01/2010)
Deep orange color, small off-white head. Nice hoppy nose. Medium-bodied. You can’t guess style wrong: flowery hoppy and bitter, same time balanced IPA. There is some honey sweetness. Ok. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Apr 12, 2008 (Bottled) Very hazy amber with a smallish, creamy head. Exotic-fruity, strongly aromatic-floral-hoppy aroma. Strongly fruity-hoppy flavor with nice backing maltiness, and lemony, dryish finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, smooth carbonation. A very pleasant, balanced and fruity double IPA. pepsican (883), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA Mar 29, 2008 Big thanks to tompete and enjoyit for this guy! Golden with thin off white head. Aroma was peach, apricot, citrus, lime, hops. A strong bitter hop flavor with some citrus hoppiness to back it up. Finished clean, no hint of the abv. Very interesting and a bit different than most IIPAs I’ve tried even though the review doesn’t really capture that. KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 23, 2008 Clear golden with medium off white head. Hoppy aroma with caramel notes. Sweet hoppy flavor that holds grapefruit and caramel. Ends bitter. cheeta (858), Langå, Denmark Mar 23, 2008 Heavy yeasty aroma. Large, frothy, off-white head. Good lacing. Mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, orange body. Moderate bitter and acetic initial flavor with a long finish duration. Medium creamy palate. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Mar 20, 2008 [Sampled at Carlsens.] Imagine a Tripel Karmeliet added with loads of hops. Lots of pines, flowers, caramel, grass and hops in this special way. Good and nice beer. Madsnp (607), Odense C, Denmark Mar 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slight hazy golden ale with a quickly fading eggwhite head. Fresh citric and flowery aroma.
