Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse.
Pours a muddy pale yellow with a fine film head - lots of wonderful lacing. Nice subdued hoppy aroma amongst nice honey tones. Mouthfeel is wonderfully creamy. Flavour is well-balanced, lots of hops, medium bitterness, very fruity. Perhaps the caramel background note could do with a little more oomph...

(on bottle)A surpicing mild aroma for a IIIPA, rounded with some nuts and caramel? Creamy mouth. The hops gets a bit metallic and are not balanced very well. The finish is still very mild, the beer carries no real potent styleadjectives for such a high-volumed, megahoped style.

50 cl botte: Pours unclear Yellow/orange with a good white head. Big american hop aroma and taste all around. Peach, citrus & grapefruit. Body is medium & carbonation is is low to medium. A bit sharp & def. power hoppy. A little maltyness - but just enough. Cheers!

Comments: Quite different from the Imperial IPA, it seems darker and far sweeter in a caramelly fashion. Overall, the yeast appears to take less room and I lose this sense of great balance that it had. Certainly not bad, not from this brewery, but not as touching. Thick!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is very hoppy - you can sense it from afar when pouring it, but it also has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is very sweet and very powerful with strong notes of malt, spices, and hops, both the hops and the alcohol rips at the throat in the end, but for a hop head in a very nice way.
