Hazy beige colour. Fruity, minty, over the top hop aroma. Thick, sweet, minty, spicy taste. Sometimes it seems balanced, other times it seems like diluted hop extract. That’s an odd effect but this beer might be best in a sampling situation rather than trying to actually drink it.

Beautiful amber color; the head reduces to a thin layer, persistent. The aroma is immediately fruity and sweet; it then shows light vanilla and very light cheesy yeast. Good mouthfeel and body; the malt has become mellow with age; there is a good toffee flavor, some caramel; the bitterness level is excellent, biting but not too strong, well combined in the end with a pleasant alcohol warmth; the hopping is less aromatic than it used to be, with sweet resins, traces of bitter oranges and not much more fruits; light traces of yeast too. The final reminds dark caramel and rhubarb candies, long and balanced. It survived well and gained in harmony and complexity.

Cloudy golden color. I would expect more form the aroma. Full body, malty, good mix of sweetness and bitterness, good hopping, a bit resiny, fruity (grapefruit). Very good.

Clear golden with medium off white head. Hoppy aroma with caramel notes. Sweet hoppy flavor that holds grapefruit and caramel. Ends bitter.

Deep orange color, small off-white head. Nice hoppy nose. Medium-bodied. You can’t guess style wrong: flowery hoppy and bitter, same time balanced IPA. There is some honey sweetness. Ok.

Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught and bottle, the latter the best. Nice orange color and a nice creamy head. The aroma is nicely, fruity hopped and the flavour has a mellow, slightly sweet caramel base, upon which the citrussy and fruity hops dance on my tongue. Mouthfeel is oily, and it’s a nice beer for sure! 2203

Draught. A hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma is dusty, of malt and piny hops. The taste is sweet malty, piny hoppy taste with some alcohol. Medium to full body with a dry hoppy finish.

A Mes rate: Bottle during our Sunday night session.
A not overly attractive murky / hazy golden brown with an excellent white head and lace. Bloody gorgeous aroma. Similar to the previous beer we had I really had to work at it (is my nose not working tonight?) but it really is adorable. Incredibly perfumey. Sim could dab this on her neck and I’d love it. Stunningly aromatic hoppage. Delicate sugar notes are beautiful and the very slight earthy malt in the background round it off nicely. The flavour is even better. Damn, what a beer this is. A lip smacking blend of the incredibly aromatic hops, stunning alcohol notes and some sweet, almost sugary malt. Almost treacle thick but it’s still awesome. Jesus, the sweet alcohol is about as good as I have experienced. Grassy, bitter and dry in the finish that just goes on and on. Incredible length and mind blowing balance. Not at all delicate or restrained, it’s a full on assault. The mouthfeel is pretty much spot on. A complete coating of the tongue that is pulled down by the carb when you swallow. Bloody amazing. What a beer. Our weasel would be all over this like a flannel. Huge thanks to Jan and Charlotte for lugging this over from DK for us.
