Pours a muddy pale yellow with a fine film head - lots of wonderful lacing. Nice subdued hoppy aroma amongst nice honey tones. Mouthfeel is wonderfully creamy. Flavour is well-balanced, lots of hops, medium bitterness, very fruity. Perhaps the caramel background note could do with a little more oomph... Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: Quite different from the Imperial IPA, it seems darker and far sweeter in a caramelly fashion. Overall, the yeast appears to take less room and I lose this sense of great balance that it had. Certainly not bad, not from this brewery, but not as touching. Thick!

Fruits, herbs, pine and light spice in the aroma. Flavour of pine and flowers. Is fruity with some herbal and light spicy notes. Is medium to full bodied. Is quite balanced. Is immensly bitter in the end. Refreshingly citric and dry. yngwie (5019), Kristiansand, Norway

Malt and hops melt together nicely in the aroma, but it feels a bit sweet. Quite sweet flavor as well, with some beef-stock and a generous amounts of hops. Full body. Long, kinda balanced, yet hoppy finish. I may sound a little dissatisfied with it, but in fact it is a really nice beer. (070511) ChristianScheffel (4679), Odense, Denmark

Bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2007. Clear golden beer with a medium lasting, white head. Citrus and peach in the hop dominated aroma. Initially sweet, with plenty bitterness and some hop flavour to make up for it.
