| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 This poured a murky orange color with a small head. The aroma was herbal with some oranges and spices as well. The flavor was not bitter as you would expect but contained some pine, oranges, spices, and an alcohol bite. The finish was rather sour. Overall a pretty good beer but different for a IIPA. tronraner (1917), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a cloudy dark orange, with a small off white head. Smells a little over the top hoppy, with a light grapefruit citrus backbone. Slight alcohol heat 2was picked up as well. The flavor was quite bitter and a little watery. Some uncomfortable citrus, and musty hops were evident. Pretty astringent in its characters. Almost kind of dead tasting with no real semblance of balance or life. Disappointing. iowaherkeye (1857), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 24, 2008 500mL bottle, Holdbar til 07.01.2010--thanks pepsican! Clear orange with 1/2 finger yellow-white head, down to a thick ring and film. Aroma has tons of tropical and citrus fruits, and the same smoke and tobacco presence that their barleywine had. Some alcohol is also noted. Flavor is a little alcoholic, though still plenty of fruity hops with some caramel backing. Bitterness peaked at a 4 with a semi-dry finish. Full body with light smooth carbonation. One of the few DIPAs from Europe that I liked. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Bottle at Springslickers fish fry. Pours hazy amber with a pale yellow head. Aroma of hops, lemon, and some Belgian funk. Homebrew like mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee and clove countered by some bitterness that is a cross between citrus rind and dried leafy herbs. Has some Triple characteristics as well. Finish is dry and grassy with notes of celery and hop resin, and some slight acidity as well.
