Extremely rich IPA-aroma with flowery and caramelly, even soapy tone, hops still dominating. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is even richer: flowers and hops dominate, lemon also comes up. Surprisingly sweet start, which turns to mildly alcoholic and flowery, still mildly sweet and alcoholic aftertaste. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Malt and hops melt together nicely in the aroma, but it feels a bit sweet. Quite sweet flavor as well, with some beef-stock and a generous amounts of hops. Full body. Long, kinda balanced, yet hoppy finish. I may sound a little dissatisfied with it, but in fact it is a really nice beer. (070511) iowaherkeye (1863), Los Angeles, California, USA

Clear orange with 1/2 finger yellow-white head, down to a thick ring and film. Aroma has tons of tropical and citrus fruits, and the same smoke and tobacco presence that their barleywine had. Some alcohol is also noted. Flavor is a little alcoholic, though still plenty of fruity hops with some caramel backing. Bitterness peaked at a 4 with a semi-dry finish. Full body with light smooth carbonation. One of the few DIPAs from Europe that I liked. thewolf (5803), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a muddy pale yellow with a fine film head - lots of wonderful lacing. Nice subdued hoppy aroma amongst nice honey tones. Mouthfeel is wonderfully creamy. Flavour is well-balanced, lots of hops, medium bitterness, very fruity. Perhaps the caramel background note could do with a little more oomph... faroeviking (6119), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
