Bottle courtesy of Hopscotch. Pours cloudy amber orange with minimal off white head. Big hoppy aroma. Flavor is mostly grapefruit and citrus hops with some sweetness. Very bitter and not in a good way. Medium body with average carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. I can’t seem to find a European DIPA that really makes me say WOW!

Bottle. High and lasting white fluffy head. Hazy thick looking orange body. Powerful fruity aroma of oranges and apples with addition of a good deal of hops but no sign of the alcohol. Surprisingly mild and sweet and yet hoppy flavor with low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, flower, pine, grass and a hint of citrus. Flavour is like the aroma and also a light caramel sweetness.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy amber, caramelly nose. Sweet, a bit thick with full body. Quite a lot of flowery, grassy, piney hops. Salty very bitter finish. Fairly well balanced for a 10% beer. Simple, but good.

Golden colour, and a bit unclear. White head, mostly lasting. Aroma is kind of sweet, not heavy hoppy as expected for a triple IPA. Flavor starts sweet and finish bitter. Overall its a bit too sweet.

Deep orange color, small off-white head. Nice hoppy nose. Medium-bodied. You can’t guess style wrong: flowery hoppy and bitter, same time balanced IPA. There is some honey sweetness. Ok.

Bottle at the ’09 Fish Fry. Pours opaque gold with floaties and very small head. The aroma is tangerine, yeast, celery, and slight caramel. The flavor is sweet with some fruity hops, celery, and biscuit. A bit of twang marks the finish. Meh.

Bottle... Post RBSG ’08 O-Town/Vero Beach Throwdown Chapter 8... Murky golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Earthy aroma boasts leather and spices. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with delicate carbonation. Balanced, fruity, bittersweet and acidic. Lengthy, bittersweet, grassy finish. Thanks go out to pepsican for providing this bottle!
