(Bottled) Very hazy amber with a smallish, creamy head. Exotic-fruity, strongly aromatic-floral-hoppy aroma. Strongly fruity-hoppy flavor with nice backing maltiness, and lemony, dryish finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, smooth carbonation. A very pleasant, balanced and fruity double IPA.

Jul 4, 2008 Golden colour, and a bit unclear. White head, mostly lasting. Aroma is kind of sweet, not heavy hoppy as expected for a triple IPA. Flavor starts sweet and finish bitter. Overall its a bit too sweet.

Jun 25, 2008 Hazy orange bronze body with a lightly yellowish tinted head. Thhe aroma was grapefruit and earthy sweat. There was also toast and some almonds. The taste was toasted almonds with some tobacco. There was also some decent grapefruit rind. An interesting and fairly malty version of the style.

Jun 24, 2008 500mL bottle, Holdbar til 07.01.2010--thanks pepsican! Clear orange with 1/2 finger yellow-white head, down to a thick ring and film. Aroma has tons of tropical and citrus fruits, and the same smoke and tobacco presence that their barleywine had. Some alcohol is also noted. Flavor is a little alcoholic, though still plenty of fruity hops with some caramel backing. Bitterness peaked at a 4 with a semi-dry finish. Full body with light smooth carbonation. One of the few DIPAs from Europe that I liked.

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Bjergtrolden, Roskilde. Very pleasant rich hops aroma. Colour almost orange with relatively small white head. Flavour fruit and hops, much less bitter than would be expected, and does not leave the usual very dryness, but rather refreshing hops aftertaste.

Jun 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Some lacing. Fresh, citrus hop aroma. Flavour is sweet and hoppy. Finish has alcohol and a bitterness with slight liquorice notes. Lots of body. Slightly oily palate. Not a very complex beer, but nice as it is. 21-06-08.
