Commercial Description:
This is the first product of its kind commercially available in the world and is quite possibly the finest cider available (even if we say so ourselves). Our Mead Master searched long and hard for just the right honey to blend with the best apple juices available. What was created is an exceptionally light and crisp hard apple cider known historically as ’Cyser’ which is perhaps the original hard cider. 7% alcohol by volume. Serve extra cold in a pint glass. Makes an excellent beverage choice for those hot days of summer.

Not very good for a mead. Couldn’t detect any honey flavor... it was more like a malt.

Just not what I was hoping for. It apple cider part of it is too thin, almost water viscosity and too tart too fully enjoy. The honey part is almost non-existent. Maybe we got a bad batch

The aroma is musky despite being yeasty with apples and honey. The appearance is like yellow water with no head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is like water. This is not good.

Bought a whole case through some red cross charity auction back in 2005. Have cracked one open every so often. The bottles have varied in carbonation, but generally are on the weak side. The higher than usual abv for a hard cider lends a needed punch to an otherwise overly juicy cider. The commercial description is spot on and you will find good honey and a definite ligh crispness of fresh apples. They have been aging well, though subtley.

Sampled @ Rabbits Foot tasting room poured a clear pale gold[still]. Aromas of honey and apple. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of apple, light honey and a hint of vanilla with a dry finish. The carbonated version was better Color 3, Aroma 6, Palate 4, Flavor 7, Overall 14.

Similar to a semi-sweet white. Not at all what I was expecting but not bad. It is clean and smooth on the palate with light hints of both honey and apple (more in the nose than on the tongue). My only complaint is that is a bit thin. I would have preferred a little more honey note on the front. Overall, not bad.

I was expecting a sparkling cider but wha tI got was a still cider. Even so this was full of apple and honey aromas and was quite drinkable. It could be enjoyed with any meal. At 7% abv is would make a fine addition to just about any meal. I’ll add this to my own cellar.

Nice light apple cider color. Aroma brings to mind caramel apples baked in spirits. Medium bodied with a smooth, honey texture. Not a bad drink. Apple/honey flavor evident. Nothing I’d repeat but not a bad drink.
