This Belgian Strong Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a 50cl flip top bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is honey, pears and floral honey. A lighter to medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of honey and pear flavors. The hops are floral. Decent carbonation. The sweetness from the honey is fairly evident, yet there is some nice malts in the background. Sweet but not cloying. Finish is quite dry for all the sweetness. Hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Is quite sour and has a lot of rubber notes. In my book this could very well be infected, eenthough it has been handled well. yespr (12024), Copenhagen O, Denmark
