[Tap] A great dark black beer that pours like molasses and taste like honey. This had a great flavor and was so yummy to drink. I really enjoyed this brew. It is very hard to find a good Stout brewed with the right stuff. Good malts and lots of good character. I will drink this again for sure.

Nitro: Creamy tan head. Dark black, ruby edges. The aroma is mildly roasted with some berry notes along with some light milk chocolate. The flavor has a perfect balance of roasted malts to the touch of crisp hops. Finishes watery & boring though, too bad.

Nitro tap. Black colored with just a hint of ruby at teh edges. Dense light brown nitro creamy head that fades slowly to a ring. Fair lacing. Modest chocolate aroma wtih slight bits of coffee. Medium bodied. Barest hints of bitterness to balance. Pretty well done, decent flavor and aroma for a nitro poured beer. A bit thin in the end, perhaps some lactic sourness?

On tap at Raccoon Lodge Portland, Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tall cream brown head. Aroma was pretty good a nice roast coffee along with some dark chocolate. Taste was lots of rich and dark roast malts along with the chocolate.

Tap @ Raccoon Lodge: Dark brown, near black pour with a finger of creamy brown head. Aroma is plentiful in roast with some coffee and light cocoa. Flavor retains the heavy roast presence, but adds more chocolate and less coffee. It gets a bit dry in the tail and has a tiny bit of bittersweet amongst the heavy roasty notes.

On tap at the bewpub. Pours opaque black with a creamy tan head. Medium body, minimal carbonation. Coffee and chocolate nose. Lightly sweet taste of chocolate, nuts, oatmeal. Soft finish.

I swear this was a dry stout, but the bartenter said no. Very smooth milkiness that surprisingly lacks a great malt backbone. Tons of coffee in the taste. Finishes dry and simple. Interesting stout, although I couldn't stand to drink a lot of it.
