Dec 8, 2007 On tap at Beulahland in Portland, OR--Poured a deep ruby-brown body. Small almost non-existing head. Decent floral hoppiness. Finished smooth and decent.

Dec 23, 2006 Raccoon finally came out with and IPA that actually is an IPA! The standard IPA and Oak IPA are lacking. This been was very dark with nearly no head and unfiltered. It went down easy and the hops were not over doing things. I’d drink again! Light on the palate with a slight funk aftertaste.

Feb 18, 2006 Tap. Medium amber colored with a slight haze to it. Long lived off-white head which leaves scant lacing. Aoma is pleasant with floral hoppy notes, some caramel. Medium bodied. Alcohol blends well. Quite a nice beer, decently balanced.

Jan 4, 2006 This was the tastiest of all, in fact I had to order a pint despite the sampler which is adequate. This has a more barleywine character to it, almost winey in the finish. Smooth and hoppy, with a velvety mouthfeel and more of a alcohol masking than previous versions.
