| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Draft. Served in an inverted conical glass, with the Radeberger brand on it. Neat in a way. Too bad the place frosted and froze the damn glass! As you could further extrapolate, the beer was ice cold at first, so I took my time with it, letting it get to a semi-appropriate temperature. Nice bright gold color, very clear (although at first it was hard to tell with the frosting of the glass). No head but it was poured that way - it hinted at producing a creaminess and left a pretty respectable lacing. Aroma was mainly hoppy: lemony and herbal. Then there was a little buttered bread behind that, with touches of corn. Flavor was also hop dominated with a lightly herbal kick followed by a long lemon rind bitterness. Palate was very light, the malts were lean but clean. Fair enough pilsner for sure. KimJohansen (7049), Copenhagen V, Denmark
