Bottle from Champanes, pours a very clear yellow gold with a white head that lowers to a ring and a cover, some effervescence, medium lacing on the glass, aromas of pilsner malt, light bread, grain, grassy hops and some faint lemon citrus, flavors of pilsner malt, grain and lemon sour-citrus with no sweetness, a very dry beer, has a good sour-citrus bitterness with a crisp and dry finish, I thought I detected a little off-ness in the bitterness and I am not sure if it is just me or maybe there are some off or old hops, could be more sour and citrus than expected, the off-ness is hardly noticeable, anyway, a good tasting beer, mouth feel is less than medium with good carbonation, a crisp German Pilsner beer.

Light amber/gold color; Medium body; Aroma of hops and grain; Flavor of slightly bitter hops; some malt, and grain; Not my favorite - but a solid pilsner.

A classic Pilsener. I’ve had it on tap at 8 Mile Creek in NYC. Pours a clear gold with a slight head. Nose of crisp malts and some hops. Flavor is a bit bready with mild bite from the small hop presence. Finish is crisp and sharp, with a pleasant, though quickly fleating, aftertaste. Very decent beer.

Fresh baked bread and grass aroma. Aroma is pretty much the same. A bit of hops on the finish linger for 20 seconds or so. Not a bad pilsener.

500ml bottle from Munich, Germany. Typical German Pils with quite powerful grassy aftertaste.

Pours a pale gold color with a nice whIte head. The aroma is lager like with some pilsner malts coming through. A bit yeasty. Flavor is crisp and refreshing, though kind of ho hum. Hints of apple and cardboard. Not a great beer, but very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a near clear yellow. Small white head. Not much in the nose, some old must hops. Taste is mild, grass, hay, old hops. Body is light/medium. Carbonation is moderate. Not very good.

Rather light. Doesn’t do much other than taste clean with a little bit of yeast. Finishes without much of a fight. At the end of the day, there is a reason this is ranked average in its style.
