Aug 24, 2007 Fluffy head. Very light yellow. Nice fragrance of classic pilsener. Fullbodied flavor and a very long lasting bitter aroma. One of the best pilseners I’ve tried.

Aug 22, 2007 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pours bright clear pale yellow. Faint hoppy aroma. Faint light malty taste with clean dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. Pretty good for a regular German pilsner.

Aug 14, 2007 Pours clear, yellow. Minor, fine head. Aroma is grassy and mildly skunky. Mouth feel is thin. Flavor is sweet and grassy with a strong bitter hop quality. The bitter hops just stick in your mouth! God! Get them out! Someone please! Get them out!

Aug 14, 2007 On draft at the Ginger Man NYC. The day was hot, my tongue was swollen and I had just walked a half mile. I needed this. It was pale gold and had a creamy white head. The malt and hops are well balanced although both have a very light presence. It was light, dry and refreshing with a mild hop aftertaste. I needed this.

Aug 12, 2007 hoppy aroma which follows through to the taste. Overall distinctive bitter taste throughout. A decent pilsner but others are much better.

Aug 10, 2007 On draft, Old Heidelberg, Bethel CT. Pours a clear yellow gold under a fluffy foamy dollop of white head. Lots of carbonation visible and left lots of lacing. Aroma is clean pils malt with some light German hops. Nice crisp, lightly bitter flavor with minimal to no DMS. Lingering lightly bitter doughy finish. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel with a nice lightly prickly carbonation level. A nice classic Pilsener, in a great setting. I’m surprised the rates are so low for this beer, I think there may be a drop in quality when in the bottle due to the shipping/storage conditions. It was pretty nice on draft.
