Hazy straw blond body, frothy white head. Grassy aroma. Soft but prominent grassy hopping. Very refreshing, I like this a lot, but I wonder if it still tastes this good outside of Germany. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, yellow body with an initially huge medium-lasting foamy white head. Veggie yeast flavour. Medium body is gravelly. Interesting taste, harsher than expected. mullet2007 (206), St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Pours a very plain yellow color, with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Smells slightly spicy. Taste is also slightly spicy, but also sort of sour in the finish. There’s some hop presence, maybe a little bit towards the pine end of the spectrum. It has reasonably low carbonation. badbrains (6), New York, New York, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 30, 2007 On tap at Loreley, in NYC. Poured a clear pale color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted and had fair lacing. Moderate hoppy grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet hoppy flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.
