The Festivities: Toasted malt flavors dwell in a crisp body which seems to lack some girth. Or maybe the carbonation is too important for my tastes. Either way, a partial flavor void is created, as delicate grassy hops and their wooden bitterness build in the last half, attracting dryness. An easy pint to down.
Transcendence: Burp.

500 Cm3 bottle - December 2005
Pours light golden with a big frothy head, that diminishes to a fine size. Aroma is grainy and malty, which is Ok. Taste is bittersweet, gentle but not watery. Afterstaste is short but pleasant. Nothing remarkable, but not bad neither. rederic (1815), montréal, Quebec, Canada

A nice pilsner. hayden1215 (305), Ohio, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2005 Fresh, strong, spicy, herbal, grassy hop aroma with some clean, underlying malt backbone. Clear golden body is topped by a tall, frothy, large bubbled, white head that laces as it recedes to ring. Strong, crisp bitterness with decent, fresh malt body and herbal and spicy hop character. Somewhat metallic in the finish. Gets fairly sweet and a bit sticky if allowed to warm. Light-medium body with lively effervescence that is unfortunately short-lived. Lager glass. Fridge temperature. Can (LCBO, May-05).
