| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Light gold. A gregarious nose, with lots of grain, and spring-time aromas of wet stone and wet grass. Nice texture and an undulating bitterness that starts off strong, goes away during the middle and suddenly resurfaces on the edges of the tongue for the finish. Lots of grass and hay in the flavour department. Could use a bit more finesse, but overall a pretty good pilsner. Beer Snob (382), Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2005 Solid, unspectacular pilsener. Nice clean taste, malty aroma, hint of bitterness in the finish.
Beats Heineken, that’s for sure. Cows9 (41), Dumont, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2005 On tap at the John Bull pub (one of a chain), located just off Bajscy Zsilinsky Ut, Budapest. Nice solid German Pils. Full sour flavour, though it becomes ever so slightly watery on the finish. Otherwise refreshing and served in one of those lovely tall, thin steins. Aroma is grassy and herbal with a sweet malt background. Flavor is slightly sweet with some earthy tones and finishes moderately bitter. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

A farily large white head. The aroma is light and sweet with Granny Smith apples and some hints of balsamic vinegar. The taste is grainy with wood and dry leaves. Also makes me think of hay. Very crisp finish. A tint of meat here, maybe beef. Strange. Cornfield (4963), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Pale golden with a tall, bubbly white head, this has a nice aroma of grainy malts capped with some decent floral hops. Sweet malts prevail in the initial tasting, but the hops soon return to give this a snappy, bitter finish. I can see why Mr. jackson listed this as one of his favorite pilseners.
