Reid (991), Salem, Oregon, USA Jan 2, 2008 500ml bottle.
Pale ,clear yellow lager, with a good sized thick/frothy pure white head.Pleasant bready aromas with a good backing of fresh grassy hop, nice.
THis one has quite a luscious malt taste to it with the hops popping through like pinpricks, hops are grassy/lemony not harsh.
I loved the pleasing silky thick ( for the style) palate to this one.
Very nice Pils indeed, underrated IMO.
rocbyter (625), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Aug 27, 2008 Not much of any aroma here. I can get very light hints of grain. Clear golden color with a small white head. Taste is very light sweet flavor in the beginning with any flavor fading away in the finish. Light as water. Quietman (157), Florida, USA Aug 24, 2008 Clear gold, white head.Pine, grass, hay aroma.Bitter up front but not overly so.Slight sweetness.Crisp,drinkable.Dry,bitter finish. Not outstanding but not bad. grant (759), Martinez, California, USA Aug 23, 2008 Pristine straw color with expansive but hollow head. Deep grainy, chloriney aroma, light herbal hops. Smooth, languorously textured flavor, a little too fatty and full. Sweetish with very light bitterness, sharp pepperiness. jezmez68 (276), Chesterton, Indiana, USA Aug 22, 2008 Pours golden with a nice white head. Not much aroma, but a decent taste. Hell, it was the official drink in Saxony. Nice example of a pils. EHSRanders (698), Randers C, Denmark Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with large creame white mostly lasting head. Hoppy aroma. sweet hoppy flavor. Bitter finish.
