| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Multiple samples from a keg at EDAs post Thanksgiving bash. Pours a clear gold body with large clinging bubbles and a smaller bright white head. Aroma of white grapes and honey, fresh grain and a slight touch of sulfur. The flavor on this one was all grains but it was so soft and subtle that it really seemed like a light beer. Not bad for a palate cleanser instead of water as we drank loads of other great bottles. wheelz843 (211), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle from Champanes,
pours a very clear yellow gold with a white head that lowers to a ring and a cover, some effervescence, medium lacing on the glass,
aromas of pilsner malt, light bread, grain, grassy hops and some faint lemon citrus,
flavors of pilsner malt, grain and lemon sour-citrus with no sweetness, a very dry beer, has a good sour-citrus bitterness with a crisp and dry finish, I thought I detected a little off-ness in the bitterness and I am not sure if it is just me or maybe there are some off or old hops, could be more sour and citrus than expected, the off-ness is hardly noticeable, anyway, a good tasting beer,
mouth feel is less than medium with good carbonation,
a crisp German Pilsner beer.
